ARE YOU READY FOR HALLOWEEN TOWN?
THIS IS HALLOWEEN!
CELEBRATING 18 YEARS OF HOME HAUNTING IN 2024.
HALLOWEEN TOWN is a free interactive haunted display that is located in Algonquin Illinois during the month of October.
HALLOWEEN TOWN was first created in 2006 by homeowner Jim Haupert. It all started with a tiny graveyard and a few skeleton lights. Kids enjoyed the display while parents would photograph them in the graveyard on Halloween night. Every year the display grew larger adding lights, fog, lightning effects, and GHOULS and in 2008 with the addition of JACK SKELLINGTON, HALLOWEEN TOWN was born!
Since then, a WHOLE LOT has changed! HALLOWEEN TOWN includes Jack’s and his dog ZERO. Jacks partner, SALLY . Halloweens favorite Trick or Treaters, LOCK, SHOCK, and BARRELL are also on site. Keep a watchful eye out for OOGIE BOOGIE too. Occasionally the MAYOR of HALLOWEEN TOWN himself will stop by during the Halloween season.
In addition, there are PNEUMATIC and MOVING PROPS within the cemetery gates, an inviting graveyard walk thru brings spectators and victims of every age, up close and personal to their darkest fears! ZOMBIES, GARGOYLES, BATS, and SKELETONS, await you in this haunted cemetery! HAUNTING WINDOW VISIONS, BLEEDING CREATURES, CREEPY COFFINS, SINGING PUMPKINS, and much, much, more can be seen here in HALLOWEEN TOWN.

Love this haunt! Right side features a pumpkin patch area and a classic graveyard with a walkthrough, including homemade Zombies and props. Left is a great homage to the classic Nightmare Before Christmas. Digital projections, lights and sounds create the perfect ambiance. Something for all ages, details that should not be missed, and just overall a great haunt.

Halloween Town is a great family friendly haunt in the northwest suburbs ran by one of the founding members of Chicago Haunt Builders. There is a lot to see here and includes many characters from Nightmare Before Christmas, a walk-through cemetery with zombies, skeletons, coffins and more. They are using pneumatic, electric and static props (some 12’ guys too) and have incorporated a singing pumpkin patch, video projections and more. There are some good scares, a snake that pops out of the bushes and some pop ups. Lots of detail including: custom made tombstones, Cemetery archway, bats, skeletons, fog, music and more. A true haunt builder as there are many custom props both moving and static. If you love the Nightmare before Christmas, this is a must see haunt.
Highly Recommended!
