As of tonight, Oct. 9, 2024: This haunt wins Halloween in the burbs. The Backwoods of Ridgewood sets the bar high with a wonderfully interwoven theme of a foggy bog and woodland nasties. Expect skeletons, bog monsters and carefully placed motion activated scares (not too much for the children). Truly an enjoyable experience that left my wife and I comparing every subsequent Halloween haunt visit to this professional-level build. If you’re in the area, definitely make the trip out to check it out!
